Randstad

Randstad is one of the major global players in the staffing industry. Since 2005 Xaton has been helping Randstad to develop a complex Web-Application to support role-based workflows for a variety of user groups:

Customers can use the system to procure resources, approve their timesheets and create management-reports (for example to provide an overview of costs).

Flex-workers can create and maintain a personal profile, search for jobs and enter working hours and expenses in timesheets.

Randstad agents can match job opportunities with flex-worker profiles.

The application is now used in 10+ countries world -wide and supports workflows for 11 different roles exercised by flex-workers, staff within companies requiring flex-workers, and Randstad agents. With more than 450 screens and an HR-XML web-service interfaces to Oracle, PeopleSoft and SAP Back-office systems, this is one of the most complex websites around.  The solution is built in J2EE, uses BEA Web Logic 9 application server, Oracle databases and the Elise Matching Engine.
